This metal phone tripod mount felt solid in the hand and has all the necessary adjustments needed for a quick release and adjustment on a tripod. You cannot go wrong with high-quality materials.The cold shoe mount provides a great option to have an external recording microphone and lighting. This is a must-have tool if you already own tripods or mono pods and are looking for something solid to turn your phone into a video recording device.
This is a nice little piece of gear. There are so many accessories that can be used for photography and videography, it seems the combinations are endless. What I like about this tripod mount is that it can be used to accommodate my phone, lights, a mic, any kind of hot shoe or cold shoe mount. According to the promo info; “entire body crafted from high-quality aircraft-grade aluminum” and it feels like it too. It’s solid and attractive. I think it’s absolutely necessary to have one or two of these types of devices, that help incorporate any of the photo/video goodies into my setup.
